Legacy Giving

Legacy Giving offers a way for individuals to benefit Longmeadow public school children long into the future through their wills, livings trusts and other gift options. All that is needed is a plan and a commitment to help the schools (K-12), teachers, and students in their quest for excellence. Your support is vital

It's a fact. We cannot provide grants without funds. So, that is where you come in.  We are asking you to become a contributor to LEEF. We are painfully aware that there are many deserving organizations competing for your contributions. However, LEEF positively impacts your child's education experience. To minimize the impact of fundraising on you, we have a long-term strategy designed to build a self-sustaining endowment that will fund the annual grants. But in the short term, we must request contributions twice a year through our Gala and Phonathon – and leave the door open through our direct contribution programs. LEEF appreciates every gift, large or small.  Your thoughtfulness and generosity will be appreciated by the children, their teachers and our schools.

How you can give to LEEF

Fundamentally there are two ways to contribute to LEEF and your children's education: time and money. You can give of your time by becoming a LEEF volunteer. When you help us with any or all of our fundraising events, we think you'll have an enjoyable, fun time. And, of course, your financial support directly enhances the education of all Longmeadow school children.

Through our Tributary Giving program, you can honor a loved one or mark an occasion with a tribute.

Honor Thy Teacher with a Contribution

Honor Thy Teacher is an opportunity to donate to LEEF and recognize a teacher or administrator who has been an inspiration to you or a family member. This fundraising campaign allows parents and students honor someone who has had a profound effect on a student's life. It's a way to say thanks to our wonderful faculty and staff for a job well done. Honorees are sent a card from LEEF with the donor's name. A copy is also provied to the principal and superintendent.

As with all contributions to LEEF, corporate giving is tax deductible. Donors are listed in our report which recognizes cumulative gifts for the calendar year January 1 to December 31.
